Welcome to my website! I’m Whitney, better known as WhatInTheWhit. I’m a native of the DC metro area with a strong background in the performing arts. I received my bachelors degree in theater from the University of Maryland, College Park and have worked in the performing arts industry in many different roles.

Many of you may know me from my social media profiles - I love to bring awareness to shows happening in the DC/Baltimore metro area. My goal is to help more people find live entertainment that speaks to them. I believe that there’s a show out there for everyone, and I want to help you find yours. If I’ve ever helped get you to a show that you’re still thinking about days later. I want to help people find a show that they walk away from feeling a sense of fulfillment and community that they aren’t able to get from television, movies, or social media.

Doing this type of work involves more than just posting on social media. You can also find me producing new works locally and traveling to NYC and other cities to check out new shows. I watch it all, anywhere from Broadway to community theater.
